Cheers. Raechel got back yesterday, and by the time I got home after work she'd already cleaned up the living room. I'm immensely grateful. Between her efforts and my final slogging through of the dishes, the evidence of the new year's party is finally close to eradicated. That took bloody long enough, eh? Today was our "monthly" store meeting. (Monthly being a highly subjective term, since our last one was I think in October?) I can't believe I forgot I hadn't any dollar bills on me. Couldn't take the bus, so I got up at four forty five and walked the half hour uphill to work. Aargh. It's probably a bad sign that I resent doing that sort of work. Though it is mostly just time of day. Or "day," I should perhaps say, since it was still pitch black out and remained so until the end of the meeting, about. I finally went back over to seven corners to get some fun random things from the Asian market. I figured since I got an early start on the day, why not continue that trend. So I came home by eleven with a lot of baby bok choy, some Chinese broccoli, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, mint and some other herby thing which I have as yet been unable to identify despite having eaten some. Oh, and circular dumpling wrappers. I am so frustrated with the vaguely square ones which aren't actually square. So far so good, right? Was also planning on walking into Georgetown for a bit, cooking some soup, doing the laundry... instead? I fell asleep. Shouldn't be surprised in retrospect, considering. But was still not the greatest idea. Meh. So I wasted the day for not having done the laundry, which means I either A) do it tomorrow, or B) get frighteningly creative. Mrrr. I should get to bed soon, though. Perhaps after I finish the few pages I have left of JTHM. That ought to provide a good night's sleep, yes. *yawn*
