Whew. Got through to my father in time. Now I just have to make sure nothing else keels over and dies while I'm not looking.

Tomorrow my quartet is playing another school gig... for preschoolers. Three year olds? Not sure I can deal. Trying to figure out what's famous enough on flute that three year olds will know it. Bleh. Will be day three of formal attire, presumably, too.

So talked to my father a lot about this semester.... it's funny, he's a very intelligent man, but half the time what he says is so obvious that one wonders why he bothers saying it. Well. I don't know anymore. Every time I think I've made a decision I get unsure again. Oh well. I don't think I've done anything that I can't back away from yet.

Oh, so I was amused... I walk around campus barefoot with some regularity, much like Stenny, Amanda, and Beth. Today as I was walking down some random hallway I hear as people pass me "...maybe. Naturalist or something?" That was a first. Usually no one says anthing. Well, except the one janitor who was concerned for my wellfare. *Shrug*

Currently darned spinn (of darned spinnwebe) is responsible with getting me quasi-obessed with Assemblage 23, and I now have yet more things on my list of "artists ideally I will buy multitudes of CDs from." Okay, I just got stressed out about having ended that sentence with a preposition. I still find it odd that artists have a tendency toward being capable of being looped into a simiar theme. First I submit the following: Front 242-->Front Line Assembly-->Assemblage 23. Then we have this: VNV Nation, Fear Factory, Hate Department. "I work in the Hate Department of the Fear Factory down the street, which is in thee VNV Nation." No, really. *shrug* Oh, but Hate Department's cover of You Spin Me 'Round just sucks. You hurt my 80s memories! Damn you!

So "Greg Fest" was today. I missed most of it, but I did catch the very tail end of Crimson Shift's last performance ever. *sigh* That really sucks. I lived with two of those guys my freshman year, and they've been together that long. All really cool guys, too. So much is coming to an end this year. I wonder if it's like this every year and if you just miss it when you're an underclassman. Still so many plans I need to work out.... Damn.

I suppose I should be starting on my web design assignment soon..... Blarghitall. I'd actually really like to work on it, once I figure out what to do content-wise. Because planning is my favourite thing ever. *sigh* Three more weeks.
