Today I did virtually nothing that wasn't music related. Which is both good and rather disgusting. I slept in because I've sorely needed it. Got up at twelve fifteen, showered, and had an inspiration come to me in the shower. A little fragment of song. Sang it to myself as I hurried to finish up and as I dressed hurriedly. I ran from the room without even brushing my hair and went directly to the tech lab in Mason to record my melody. Didn't take long to get that down, then I fuddled a bit to come up with two melodic fragments that harmonized well. Then a bass line, then some percussion... later some chords.... I think I spent about six or seven hours in the lab in total today, but the song is almost done. In between lab times I was over at the Williams center working with Sound Services setting up La Fiesta. I'm still terribly inexperienced, but I'm getting better. I can wrap cable in less than twenty minutes now! =Þ I'm still pretty clueless, but I guess I catch on as quickly as anyone else, and Morde'an says that at any rate I'm an asset to the club because I'm so strong. Hehe. I should be working... Argh.
